Dead tree at Paramount Ranch in the Santa Monica Mountains near Malibu, California. Painted plein air on 140 lb WC paper. Last session of my class. I will miss Joe Cibere's great inspiration and instrution. I might try a figure or head painting class next. Wonderful day and beautiful weather.

Last painting of the morning at Paramount Ranch. I love Eucalyptus trees. Even though they are Austrailian in origin, they seen so "California" to me.
