Sam's No. 3, Denver, Colorado

I had a few minutes while waiting for a collegue to return before we took off to the airport. I walked out of the Curtis Hotel and found a planter wall to sit on and sketched this funky restaurant at the corner of Curtis and 15th in Downtown Denver. I sketched it in my 5x8 Moleskine notebook and added a little color later. Nice breeze and pretty warm too.

I just stumbled upon your blog, and I must say I found it very impressive! I paint with watercolors as well, and I love your combination of pen/watercolor.

I´m an art student from Argentina, and would very much appreciate it if you would comment on my work. Thanks!

Love it, dad! This one is very "real" to me. Like I can feel like I live in that neighborhood.

I love this!! This is one of my favorites from your amazing water color paintings. I would like to get a print to frame and hang for my living room. Should I ask Craig?
